Lunch near Francesc Macià

There are plenty of offices around Francesc Macià and the Diagonal, and at lunchtime the question is usually where to eat well without going far. Mediterránea is at the bottom end of Santaló, on the first floor of the Hotel Zenit, with a dining room that looks out onto a tree-lined street through a large window. Come on your own, with a client or with the team: book online and, if there are several of you, tell us how many so the table is ready. In the evening the menu is the same, and the square makes an easy meeting point before you walk up.

Salads

Hearty salads for a midday meal

The Caesar comes with lettuce, chicken, parmesan and Caesar dressing, and on its own it's a full meal. There are four salads: alongside the Caesar, the Mediterránea with tuna, the mixed greens with goat's cheese and the tomato and avocado tartare. If you'd like something to share first, patatas bravas or the Ibérico ham and cocido croquetas go in the middle of the table. And if you'd rather have a hot dish, there's the Milanesa a la Napolitana with chips or the salmon loin in asparagus cream.
